Raw Pad Thai Sauce

I am revisiting my sauce from Raw Pad Thai Salad. This sauce is made amongst almonds as well as kokosnoot as well as flavored amongst lemon grass. I wanted to role hemp every bit a topping for my pad thai, as well as hence the sauce is made lighter compared to my older version.


Ingredients:
  • Raw almonds - a big handful
  • Shredded kokosnoot - two Tbs
  • Lemon grass  -1 stalk 
  • Tamarind - i Tbs (tamarind seeds removed, non extract) 
  • Dates - 1-2 
  • Green chilly - 1-2 
  • Garlic  - 1-2 cloves
  • Ginger - i Tbs (chopped)
  • Apple cider vinegar - i Tbs 
  • Pink Himalayan tabular array salt - every bit per taste
Directions:
  • Soak almonds, tamarind as well as dates overnight or for a few hours. 
  • When ready to brand the sauce, add together the soaked ingredients to a blender jar. Add coconut, chopped garlic, ginger, lemon grass cutting into big chunks, apple tree cider vinegar as well as salt.
  • Blend till squeamish as well as creamy.
  • Add to your noodles.
  • For a grain free, egg gratuitous as well as soy gratuitous version of Pad Thai every bit shown inwards the picture, I used steamed yam noodles along amongst unopen to raw carrot noodles. I served it on steamed collard leaves as well as topped amongst raw hemp hearts, chopped almonds as well as chopped fresh cilantro.
